Unit 2 Reflection

AI and Impact on Literature Reflection      For this project, I decided to focus on AI and its impact on literature for current and future writers. At first I wanted to look at the connection between AI and coding since that more accurately applies to my major, but I felt for a writing class, it would be perfect to focus on the impacts AI has on writing! It was relatively easy to choose my audience for this project because my motivating questions behind my research was toward the perspective of writers. I implemented logos to create logical arguments so my audience can understand the meaning behind my research.  In this project, I definitely challenged myself by reading about a topic I do not know well. I initially wanted it to be somewhat related to the field I know well; statistics. Although that was my initial plan, I wanted to expand my horizons and research something I am unfamiliar with which is literature and AI.  While doing my research, I found many art...

How Does AI Affect Current and Future Writers? The emergence of AI has had its implications on society. It is important to understand the effects that AI and technology have on writers future and current because of its efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility. Unit 2 Library

For my library experience, I went to Bird Library on campus to check out a book called "The History of Popes" by Ludwig von Pastor. This book stuck out to me because I just recently watched the movie Conclave  which was very interesting to me.  Regarding technology, it certainly affects my relationship with the library because I almost never go and check out a book there unless I am told to. If I need a book, my first step is to look online for a free version online, then if I cannot do that, I look somewhere else online for cheap purchase. I never go to a library to see if they have a physical book there.  Especially with a book like "The History of Popes", that is something I would just look up on my own instead of going to the library to read a book about the popes from 1755 to 1799. This book struck my interest because it is not something that I know a ton about. I am very into my faith and devoted to living according to my morals. Although I do not know much ab...
